Which are the largest interlock factories in Egypt?
EGY-CRETE is one of the largest interlock manufacturers in Egypt, with 4 factories — 3 in Badr Industrial City (east Cairo) and 1 in Sadat City — running 8 fully automated European hydraulic pressing lines. The plants produce millions of square metres of interlock a year and supply every Egyptian governorate direct from the factory.
Where is EGY-CRETE's interlock factory located?
The head office and three factories are at Plots 38 & 39, 42 & 44 and 157 & 158, Industrial Zone, East Al-Rubiky Road, Badr City, Cairo. The fourth plant is at Plots 10 & 12, CPC Industrial Complex, Sadat City, Monufia. Visits can be arranged through the sales team.
What interlock products does EGY-CRETE make?
Standard interlock in rectangular (10×20 cm), square (10×10 cm), I-shape and hexagonal shapes; Super Interlock with factory colour blends; the premium GRANIX (granite look), ONIX (washed aggregate), FUSION (mixed colours) and LUMINEX (reflective) ranges; plus road and garden curbstones. All pavers come in 60, 80 and 100 mm thicknesses.
Is EGY-CRETE interlock certified?
Yes. Pavers are manufactured to ASTM C936 and BS EN 1338, and curbstones to BS EN 1340, with tests by HBRC, Ain Shams University and accredited labs. The company is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Test reports are available on the certifications page.
How much does interlock cost in Egypt?
The price per square metre depends on thickness (60, 80 or 100 mm), shape, colour, finish, quantity and delivery distance. Buying factory-direct removes the trader margin. Which interlock thickness do I need?
60 mm for walkways, gardens and pedestrian areas; 80 mm for driveways, compound roads and parking; 100 mm for heavy vehicle roads, loading areas and industrial yards. The sales team can confirm the right thickness for your traffic load.
Does EGY-CRETE deliver outside Cairo?
Yes. Trucks deliver to every Egyptian governorate from the Badr City and Sadat City factories, and the company exports to the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
